BOOK A ROOM BOOK A VIEWING

Top Things to Do This February

Exhibitions of all sorts, vegan grub, festival releases and lots of love are just some of the wondrous things we’ll be expecting this February… Although we will be keeping you updated on all things wonderful throughout February, this list is a great way to schedule your outings, get excited for the month ahead and start booking your tickets!

1. Immerse Yourself in a Colourful Extravaganza

Emmanuelle Moureaux presents an oasis of colour at NOW Gallery in Greenwich Peninsula. The architect and artist gathers a vast array of dangling numbers, created in 100 different colours, reflecting the links with time representing past, present and future. The colourful pathway is an Instagrammable marvel that’s bound to get really busy; especially given it’s free for all! Slices of Time will open on the 5th of February.

2. Roam Plant-Based Pit Stop

A drool worthy food hub has landed in King’s Cross, treating us to imaginative vegan goodness and we’re all up for it! The cylindrical grey bulk is hard to miss for visitors of the station, playing host to Palm Greens, Vida Bakery, Mother and Pipoca for the next 3 months. Vegan smoothies, acai bowls, red velvet cupcakes, crepes and salad bowls aplenty will be on offer, with multiple gluten-free options to try out and we’re sure they’ll be exponentially better than any other supermarket sandwich you had in mind for later on in the day. Combine the vegan experience with a studying session at the British Library (basically just around the corner) and you’ve got a winner of a study day!

3. Head to Vault 2020

28th of January marked the commencement of our beloved Vault Festival (in case you missed our latest newspaper, we highly recommend grabbing a copy and reading more about the festival!) and we couldn’t be more excited for the abundance of shows that will be live until the 22nd of March. Hundreds of events are on the programme until that time, as part of London’s biggest, boldest & wildest arts festival! Enjoy stunning performances all over the Waterloo area, skill sharing and workshop events that will encourage any budding artist and immerse yourself in an experience that keeps coming back to the London scene to excite audiences!

4. Celebrate Valentine’s Day

London knows how to do a celebration, and Valentine’s Day serves as a proof of that! The windows of iconic department stores take a loving spin, bars and restaurants alike dress up in their fanciest red decorations and heart shaped menus, and chocolatiers of all calibres excite crowds with their sugary creations. Yes, Valentine’s Day in London is majestic, and we can’t wait for it to arrive! Although we will be posting our top tips on how to spend Valentine’s Day in London soon (stay tuned), it’s time to save the date for The Stay Club’s VDay extravaganza; yes, you guessed it right, we’re hosting it on February 14th! 5. Go all out on Pancake Day

Yes, pancake day is a thing and there’s no better place to scour for the most delicious ones, than London! There is an abundance of brunch places and restaurants that will rejoice on the 25th of February with menus dedicated to the celebration (i.e.: The Breakfast Club is one that goes all out year after year), and others that serve pancake goodness throughout the year, but it’s good timing to visit them on the day! Where the Pancakes Are in London Bridge is definitely one of our suggestions, whereas Riding House Café, Rail House Café and Village East all held a bottomless buttermilks bonanza last year that we’re hoping will come back for a second round in 2020!
